Noisy Neighbours

2016 – Branding, Packaging Design

Noisy Neighbours black lager is a drink for young adults who see themselves as sophisticated individuals passed the age of loud music and rowdy partying, but still adventurous enough for a relaxed night of quiet fun.

 

After a good amount of research and experimentation, I found a way in using type and color to represent noise in a more subtle and metaphoric way. The rich purple to bright orange gradient mimics the sunrise, suggesting an entire night of disruption with the support of humourous icons that represent sounds– music and profanities.

 

From the name of the beer, to the tone of voice in the product description on the back of the label, Noisy Neighbours carries a consistent satirical humour in all its text and imagery.
